Prince Edward Island has a special place in Canada as its smallest province and as the birthplace of our country in 1864. We also have a vision for Prince Edward Island in the twenty first century. We hope to draw immigrants who are highly skilled, ingenious and hard working to join us as Canadian citizens and new "Islanders" in building our future together.

Lets not be afraid to promote our real island heritage in both communication and transportation and how Prince Edward Islanders took pride in these very important aspects of our provinces history and link with Canada.

When will we wake up and start developing what we have already.

The confederation trail is not complete until it honors it's own history for Prince Edward Islanders.

The confederation trail was intended to honor a historical legacy of transportation and communication with Canada.

I would like to see this legacy present throughout the confederation trail and I would like to see islanders aware of this constitutional history with Canada.
